Sit, listen to the wind, birds and trees. Allow the beauty and chaos that is nature to enter and propel you through this time we call life. Breath in the smells of an open fire place and a camp fire. Know the difference they have on you and your surroundings. Give with an open heart and mind. Know that there are richer and poorer. But never measure those two thoughts by the amount of money one has. For richness is how you live and give of yourself, not what you have.

Forest Witch Potpourri
1/2 oz. broken cloves
1/2 oz. powdered allspice
1 oz. rosemary
2 oz. sage
1 oz. lilac
2 drops pine oil
2 drops vanilla oil
2 drops patchouli oil
1 broken cinnamon stick
a handful or so of either Cedar chips or rose petals
a jar with a lid to hold the potpourri
Mix together all the ingredients except for the cinnamon stick and the chips or petals.
Take either the chips or petals (whichever you choose) and place them in the bottom of the jar. Sprinkle the mix over them and then cover the mix with another layer of either the chips or petals.
About halfway to the top place the broken cinnamon sticks, then continue on with filling the jar in layers. When all is done screw on the lid and let it sit so that the smells intermingle. When you want to freshen a room (or just to smell the stuff), just open the lid.
