You will need the following items for this spell:
A red candle (if you want passion)
A pink candle (if you want romance)
A red or pink rosebud (according to your choice of candle color)
A few drops of water
A jar (with lid) of clear honey
-----------------------------------------------------------
Remember when casting this spell that it is not directed at another
person but at you, making you the centre of their romantic interest. The
spell should be cast on a Friday, the day linked to Venus, at a time
when the Moon is waxing or Full. As the flower bud you are going to use
represents you, make sure you use the most perfectly formed one you can
find. And if you are going to pluck one from a rose bush in your garden,
do so gently. The spell is usually cast in the name of Aphrodite,
goddess of love, but if you have another deity you prefer, feel free to
use it. And feel free, too, to decorate your altar with any appropriate
charms and talismans, herbs and crystals and to burn incense and a
suitable essential oil. If you are on a diet or allergic to honey, this
may not be the spell for you.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Light the candle and say:
"I call upon Aphrodite/**** Goddess of Love/****
to be with me
as I make this magic and that her presence gives
me her blessing.
And it harm none, so be it."
Hold the rosebud in your power hand and sprinkle the water over it. As you do so say:
"This flower is my romantic allure
I freshen it so it be pure.
And it harm none, so be it."
Take the lid off the honey jar and holding the jar gaze into it and
visualize yourself and your new lover in a romantic or passionate
situation, according to your choice. When you see a strong picture of
the two of you together, laughing, obviously in love and relishing eachother's company, say:
"As honey to the bee is sweet,
May true love sweep me off my feet.
And it harm none, so be it."
Still chanting the words, press the flower into the clear honey and
when it is right in, replace the lid, saying the last line of the
invocation one more time. Now extinguish the candle, and take it to your
bedroom along with the honey pot. Put the jar under your bed and leave
it there for a complete Moon cycle. Every night, just after the sun has
set, light the candle and let it burn for an hour until it has burned
right down.
After 28 days, take the honey from under your bed
and eat just one spoonful. Continue to do this every night at the same
time and by the time the jar is empty you should have attracted a new
lover to your side.
Sit, listen to the wind, birds and trees. Allow the beauty and chaos that is nature to enter and propel you through this time we call life. Breath in the smells of an open fire place and a camp fire. Know the difference they have on you and your surroundings. Give with an open heart and mind. Know that there are richer and poorer. But never measure those two thoughts by the amount of money one has. For richness is how you live and give of yourself, not what you have.

A simple spell for help in any area
This is a simple spell - all you to do is light a candle, ground yourself then imagine ( a place you want to help ) being surrounded in white light. Then send your blessing by saying whatever you feel in your heart. If you like you can recite the following:
Lord and Lady,
I ask you to take care of the people of ( ) in this time of need,
Let the survivors find shelter, food, comfort and strength,
Let those still trapped under rubble be found quickly and easily,
Let medical assistance be available promptly to those who need it,
Let international aid be abundant and directed to the most appropriate places,
Let our hearts be open to the suffering of others so we can give of ourselves to them.
So mote it be.
Memories of brosted chicken
I now live near Frankenmuth Michigan, home of what was for a long time the place I stopped just coming off US I-75 on the way up north. It was was a truck stop, gas station, and broasted chicken joint. It was called "Fritz" The only thing left is the sign. This place was there for many many years. I remember stopping there with my first born when she was small and 19 years her sister was born. Then almost 12 years later her sister and I stopped there on the way up north.
What I am offering is not broasted but the incredible juicy chicken that is encased in this recipe is every bit as good as the broasted chicken and without a fancy machine.
Chicken strips Frozen, boneless, skinless and cut in half sideways.
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/8 teaspoon ginger
1/8 teaspoon cumin
1/8 teaspoon chili powder
Mix the flour, cream of tartar, ginger, cumin, and chili powder with approx 2 cups water. Mix until you get a batter with about the same consistency as pancake batter. Dunk the chicken into the batter and fry at medium-medium high heat in a pan of oil. It will take a few minutes. turn without piercing the covering and fry on the other side. when done remove. serve with a sweet and spicy sauce.
