Oat Pulp Suet Cake for Squirrels

1/2 cup oat pulp
1/4 cup bacon grease (from frying bacon)
1/4 cup any seeds or raisins or Crasins (I used sesame seeds)

Mix together warmed grease with the oat pulp and seeds or raisins. put into a sandwich Tupperware container. They are the perfect suet cake size. freeze and set out for the birds and squirrels in the winter.  Note: Perfect of weather is 32 degrees or less but not for warmer weather. the mix is too soft if really warm weather. Today our high will be 18 degrees. the perfect time to put this out.

Oat Pulp Breakfast Bites

Going through so much oat milk has had me creating loads of new recipes for the pulp. so don't forget to check out the links for all the recipes with the oat pulp and the oat milk it's self. they will be below. Now on to the recipe

Oat pulp breakfast bites

3/4 cup oat pulp (1 1/2 recipe of oat milk to create this amount of pulp)
1 1/2 cups buttermilk pancake mix (i like Krusteaz)
1 large egg
1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar
1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Mix well, it will be stiff. put in fridge for 1/2 hour and drop by spoonfuls into hot oil. Turn and cook completely. remove and roll in cinnamon sugar. can be served plain on the run like donuts or with syrup (to dunk in) in place of pancakes.

This is what the oat pulp should look like if not there is still too much oat milk in it

The Ulitimate Banana Shake

Is your family tired of you using those over ripe bananas in the same old banana bread. Well here is a better and so much more appreciated use.
This is very good for chemo patients, diabetics, elderly, diets and anyone who needs nutrition without all the sugar. Prep time doesn't include freezer time
1 banana
1 1/2 c milk any type
1 tsp vanilla or banana shake
Take the peel off banana and freeze the banana in plastic until frozen.
Put frozen banana, vanilla and 1 cup milk in a blender. add more milk if needed until desired consistency
serve. makes 1 shake or two small ones.
Use 3 bananas to make a blender full.
NOTE: bananas can only stay in freezer 2 -3 weeks. after that throw them away as the start to brown.
