Chocolate Oat Bread

Made from oat pulp from making oat milk or ½ cup quick oats. Check for the (* ) below to find how to use each to make this bread

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Spray a 9x5 (Bread) loaf pan

In a smaller bowl mix well together
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1/3 cup Hershey's baking chocolate

In a large bowl beat together
½ cup butter (1 stick)
1 cup sugar
3 eggs

*Then add the
oat pulp and ½ cup sour cream
½ cup quick oats and ¾ cup sour cream
NOTE: do not add both. I used oat pulp.

Now beat in the flour mixture on low speed until all is blended.

Pour Batter into pan and bake at 350 for 45-55 minutes, until done and a tooth pick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Remove from pan, cool completely and dust with powdered sugar or glaze if desired. We served plain.
