1 packages beer brats
1 large head red cabbage, shredded
1 large green apple cored, skinned and diced
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon thyme
Brown brats on a fry pan along with the onions. In a crock pot mix the apple cider vinegar with the sugar. Add shredded cabbage, then apples on top, then pour onions, brats and all the juices over that and set on low for 8 hours. Serve with mash potatoes.
