Crone Soap

Sometimes it can be fun to make your own beauty aids, not to mention powerful. It's a croney thing to do, and it's a great way to infuse your beauty aids with the desired magical qualities.

The first thing to do is to decide on a Goddess depending on your idea of the beauty aid's purpose. Once you've called on your Goddess, begin the recipe. Add chants or affirmations as you mix and stir to give each beauty treatment its own personal magic.

2-3 bars unscented soap
1 tablespoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons dried rosemary
1 tablespoon dried lavender
1 tablespoon salt
3 cups water

Use a chesse grater to grate the soap into measuring cup, firmly packing it until you have a full cup. Place the herbs, salt, and water in a glass pot and bring the mixture to a rolling boil. Cover the pot, remove it from the heat, and let it stand for 3 to 5 minutes. Pour the soap into the herbal mixture, and stir well until soap dissolves. If the mixture is thicker than you'd like, add hot water in small amounts until it's to your liking. Let cool, bottle, and label.
