A better homemade Rice Milk

I started with the recipe on the link below but it was way to much like drinking watered rice. seamed cooked and unnatural. In short I wasn't happy. so I continued to experiment Here is a much better Milk and it is easier.

Yummy fresh Rice milk
5 cups boiling water
1/2 cup brown or other regular rice

Put rice in a 2-3 qt glass bowl and add the boiling water.when it has cooled cover for 24 hours. then take in segments and blend 2 minutes and pour through a sieve to trap the solid and save for some of the recipes I have been creating for the oat and rice milk pulp. What you have left is the milk. I added 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract to that. it was quite yummy.

Gotta admit I like the oat milk better.
