A hospice Nurse's cold and flu remedy

A Hospice nurse gave me her version of chicken soup yesterday she just swears it has healing powers
She said she cooks a whole chicken in water until it is done an hour or so. Takes the chicken out to cool, then cools the broth and de-fats the broth and returns it to the pot. De-bones and shreds the chicken with two forks and sets aside in a bowl.

She then takes 5 or 6 eggs and whisks them with a fork just to mix, don't make frothy, then gets her chicken broth to a boil and starts stirring the broth in a circle and pours the whisked eggs in and stirs till they are done just a couple of minutes, then adds her shredded chicken.

She also said she adds some Himalayan Natural Unprocessed Cooking Fine Grain Salt to taste and she don't add pepper unless she wants it in her bowl.

She gives to people that are suffering from a cold or flu and she says it will keep for up to a week in the fridge. I am definitely going to try it soon.
