Dogs and Cats Nutritious Treats

Dogs and Cats Nutritious Treats

Your four-legged best friend will thank you for these delicious and nutritious treats. Make sure the chicken baby food does not include any other ingredients that may not be suitable for your pet.

2 cups wheat germ
3 (2.5 ounce) jars strained chicken baby food
1 tablespoon water

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Combine all ingredients in a medium sized bowl.
3. If the mixture is too dry, add more water a little bit at a time until the mixture forms a dough.
4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls (Dog) small bite size (Cat) and transfer to an ungreased cookie sheet.
5. Flatten each ball a little with the back of a fork or your fingers.
6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

Make them bite sized for kitties and bigger for a pup.
